To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism
To steal from many is research

So true! 20 Mbps down 1 Mbps up pa rin yung speed ng vdsl ko. Nag avail ako nung 30 mbps free speedboost noon, never nila binigay. Hindi daw available yung facility sa building

doubtful. 100mbps/20-30 = 3-5mbps per family (2-6 people)?

I guess sa mga remote areas sa atin na hirap abutin ng land signal applicable ang terrestrial link para maka pag tiktok din sila hehehe.

seriously those students in remote areas would benefit from this IF the GOV would have the audacity to pursue it.

Maybe the government and Stralink and work out a deal for remote barangay schools.

If you can work 100% remote I think starlink could be a game changer.

^ nakita siguro nila yung ginawa ni Elon Musk sa Ukraine. Laking tulong sa mga Ukrainians against the Russian invaders yung SpaceX Starlink.

Baka feeling nila tulungan din ni Elon ang Taiwan in the event of an invasion.

Slightly off-topic, but interesting video about running the Fiber modem off of a car battery.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeKPY_0Q44Q

So apparently despite the adapter being rated for 12V 2.5A, the ONU only consumes around 7-8W (12V 0.6A). It consumed a bit over 15,000mAh over 24 hours of run time.

Interestingly the power draw is low enough to run off a power bank and a 5V USB to 12V barrel plug adapter (usually rated for 12V 0.8A when converting from 5V 2.1A).
