During one of my obligatory seminars in grad school I learned that as much as 70% of the "cheeses" sold in supermarkets is not really cheese by official definition.

I believe they're called "processed cheese" if I'm not mistaken.

I think i'm going to choose calisthenics over having a gym bod. First off all, i would not need gym membership or all of those equipment. And  I've seen construction workers, fishermen, provincial farmers and rice miller workers. Their physique is more like bruce lee and manny pacquiao.

Not that am gonna get there (without roids) but the goal of the gym bod just looks.... A bit of a caricature to me. It's the male equivalent of female airbag butts, thick eyebrows and snuffleafagus eyelashes.

Peeps that i follow as i go into this journey:

You should check out the recommended routine over at reddit.com/r/bodyweightfitness as well, along with fitnesssfaqs, calisthenicmovement, and the bioneer youtube channels.  They don't talk much about nutrition though, so check jeff nippard/jeremy ethier as well.

let's create a health thread here... I've been worried about my health too. consulted a  doc yesterday and said to me that I have "controlled" type 2 diabetes.  she explain to me that if I didn't control my sugar it will lead to stroke, heart attack etc...   lab tests show I got 6.6 hba1c, fbc is 124 and ldl 130  whew :(. creatinine at stage 2 already.  less rice on my meal and more veggies. luckily its okay to drink diet soda.

Free range chicken = lead in your diet?

Backyard hensí eggs contain 40 times more lead on average than shop eggs | Arstechnica

I hope my eggs are OK
I eat 3-5 eggs each day on average

Currently on Plan 3099/300Mbps with PLDT. Called them up to downgrade to Plan 2699/400Mbps.

Was informed i'd have 24-48 hours downtime in order to move to new plan.

Not my first time downgrading my plan with them and walang downtime nagyari in the past.

^ You didn't get a speed bump? Usually when PLDT introduces new plans with speed upgrades they adjust the older more expensive stuff so it's at least in-line with the new ones.

I'd expect your plan to be getting 500 or 600Mbps. A friend on the old Plan 3499 reported he's getting about 600Mbps up/down now.

^ Plan 3099 is with wifi mesh and was originally at 100Mbps. Already got bumped twice from 100 to 200 and then to 300Mbps now.

Planned to downgrade because it's a bit cheaper and is 100Mbps faster.

I noticed now that most FM stations earliest broadcast starts at around 5AM, some as late as 6AM. Pre-pandemic I remember some where even on the air for 24hours.

i wonder how many stations air 24hours lately.  i also noticed that there are a lot of stations that do not operate for 24hours lately
