what do you do with your old computer books ? dami ko dito .. probably around 3-4 boxes , ranging from old dos books , gwbasic , foxpro , cisco certification books , mcse books

would the city library accept them ? those cisco at mcse certification book are more than 10 years old.. winnt 4 pa , obsolete na sobra  hehe

Libraries will still accept them. There are still people working on legacy systems. At the very least hindi mo na problema how to dispose.

RIP Anthony Bourdain
RIP. Damn loved his shows.

I like him better than that other celebrity cook. He's open-minded and doesn't impose his belief and standards on other cultures.

Wonder when DDR4 prices will drop back down to March 2016 levels.

that's just wasted effort, those scammers will just throw away that sim as soon as it's not usable. they also have a bank of those sims that they are using simultaneously so removing 1 number is actually a normal thing for them (e.g. naubusan ng unli-txt...)

tried both app and browser. never using gosurf50 again. mas ok gosakto

If mobile data is your thing Smart corporate has unlimited data plans starting at P1500/mo. True unlimited, no FUP, no throttling.

They also offered a bitchin 399 plan that I'm using right now (seems to have been taken off the website though). 3GB/mo, and if you don't finish it off the unused amount rolls over to the next billing period. Way better than any Gosurf or Gosakto promo (the old trick that extends 1GB to 30 days costs close to P300 now).

they didn't take it of, they only offer it as a line-only plan -- you just have to dig deeper, or just go to the smart-centers

^ I got it as retention though and they gave it out with a phone. A basic , low-end J-series Samsung that I only use for texts and mobile hotspot.

BPI is changing their app. New app won't run on rooted phones "for security". Jeez.

The Citibank app did the same, but I sent them an email about it because their app is detecting that my phone has been rooted. My phone is using stock android.

It's usually the tamper fuse that apps check, so you could have restored stock firmware but if the tamper fuse isn't reset apps will still detect your device as rooted.

IIRC for some phones like OnePlus and Pixel you can root and then restore the tamper fuse because it's software resettable.

The Citibank app did the same, but I sent them an email about it because their app is detecting that my phone has been rooted. My phone is using stock android.

What phone? I guess they're not mutually exclusive. You could be running stock android and have root access if the manufacturer decided not to lock off the bootloader.

I have that plan on my s8+.  Got the phone ang plan for retention last year. Meron pa free 1GB data as retention promo.

got the globe prepaid as 2nd line and dahil mabagal ang smart sa office namin.
