Is my mouse busted or is anyone else having problems with the third/wheel mouse button after the latest Windows update.
hmmmn. I just shrugged it off as my mouse being old, *but* I'm also having mid-click issues, need to press it firmly (or press it again to register),  -- signs of wear, but if somebody else have the same issue, then maybe it's not hardware related  -- and yes, I just upgraded to 1803 when this happened.

My mouse is fairly new... less than a year old.

no issue on my end.  the usual issues still happen though.  since its a major update, various settings have been set to default and i needed to change them AGAIN

For Grab/Uber divers: Kailangan ba talaga sundin ang Waze? Sinabi ko na nga na wala na yung U-turn dumirecho pa rin.

Haven't tried it with Grab yet but I have asked several Uber rides to not use Waze - and they obliged without a word (and I still got 5 stars... lol).

Skycable sucks.

the past few months the TV service go out intermittently. they won't replace our broken remote control without a fee even though they only have second hand replacement.

sheesh. gotta look for another cable provider in our area with DZMM for my dad and science and cooking channels for me.

^^^DZMM is available using ABS-CBN's TV plus box. BTW, the TV plus remote works on Sky cable box and so you can't have both boxes side by side. Your other cable provider option would be Cignal. But don't get the satellite receiver.  You can get Cignal cable along with PLDT's Home fibre.

I often use Youtube to watch Science documentaries. If you have fibre, you can watch them in full-hd without choking the bandwidth.

I have my lunch hour rant as well. Today, I ordered Chow King's lauriat meal for takeout. The serving size has steadily been getting smaller but today I was stunned on how it felt more like a snack than a feast.

yup.  just get a tvplus for dzmm and youtube for science and cooking.  just make sure that tvplus is available in your area.

ang alam ko mas dapat nasusunod ang rider pag ganyan.  not sure with the current situation though.  baka nagagalit na mga grab drivers kasi mababa na yung pamasahe tapos mamaya malayo pa ang ituturo na dadaanan ng rider

^nag-magandang loob na nga ako at nanghihinayang sa gas niya kaya sinabihan ko na huwag mag-Commonwealth from UP to Edsa. Ayun napalayo pa tuloy dahil sinabi ko na nga na wala nang U-turn between Philcoa and Central Ave.

A lot of new TVs now have built-in digital receivers that can pick up DZMM, S2, etc. But a TV Plus is cheaper than a new TV though.

thanks for the suggestion. i told dad about it. he said he still watches Eat Bulaga and other GMA 7 TV series every afternoon, so we can't switch to TV plus.

any other suggestions? thanks!

TV Plus can pick up other local terrestrial channels (GMA also transmits in digital now). It also picks up the analog transmissions too.

TV plus can receive encrypted digital TV channels like DZMM in addition to other non-encrypted channels like ABS-CBN channel 2 and GMA channel 7. Otherwise, any ISDB-T receiver will do.

Pldt fibr (1899 for 20mbps) you are late. In our area by a month, and 15 spans - maximum is 8. Just applied for globe canopy (1,299 for 5mbps, 300gb) and got installed the day after I applied, this weekend. Bakit ngayon ka Lang?

I don't think that is PLDT's Distribution box for fiber...

Their box for fiber is colored grey and has the following label...

Perhaps you're right, and i'm correct too. =) New vs. old. Or maybe it's what splerdu is saying about some improved dsl...

But You see, i and my neighbor just talked to the supervisor as they are installing it (he and his henchmen had red and black "pldt fibr" long sleeves ) and he said that they are installing pldt fibr and only that. Dsl slots are full in our area of Cavite, but these are new, new, to be activated a month from now... my neighbor is switching from dsl to fibr.

Extra info/rant:
We're like 900 meters from aguinaldo hiway. Back in 2006, the road was still a dirt road and we had digitel dsl, 512kbps(?) for 800 bucks (Tanda ko pa unang torrent na dinownload ko ay si Tina Yuzuki at si Kotono lmao!) Today, land prices has almost tripled due to the cemented road which will be widened into 4 lanes (well that's the plan) in preparation for the callax... from farmland into an urban (yuck!) area in just 15 years...
