Here is the photo of the chair I bought.

Shopee link of the item is here. I chose this seller because aside from plenty positive feedback, they seem to have lots of stock on hand. I wanted to avoid being sent the "latak" inventory that can have missing parts. It cost just under 4K delivered.

https://shopee.ph/product/236384746/6142291698

I have bought many computer chairs through the years. I am a bit wary of the durability of these chairs. I have a several of them with broken arm rests. A couple failed at the stem where the lift piston connects to the seat. The one I am using has lasted for more than 2 years now and had the arm rest re upholstered. However, an identical chair bought from the same store failed at the stem part after only a few months very heavy use by my son.

For him I bought a gaming chair. It was bought from a Facebook Marketplace seller for 7K. Previous post can be found here:

http://forum.pinoypc.net/index.php?topic=34929.msg938310#msg938310

That one passed my son's durability test. However, the fake leather now needs serious re-upholstering.
So how does this product compare? I think in terms of durability, it is probably just a tad below that. The stem has a welded construction unlike the one piece formed stem of the gaming chair. However, they have reinforced it better than the previous chairs I have bought. I get it. These chair makers are pushing the envelop in price vs. durability.
So the pros are:
1. Moderate durability in the arm rest and piston stem. The weakest link for most chairs I have bought.
2. Possibly more durable leather covers.

So the pros are:
1. Seems like a bit small for me. If you are 5'10" like me, this chair is a bit under sized. The foot rest only reaches up to between the knee and the angkle.
2. Not soft or cushiony. Maybe it will be after some use but right now it's not very comfortable. Like sitting iin a public bus.

Here is a photo of the Drakon DK709 one year later. At least the chair help up, except for the worn upholstery.

If I don't get it re-upholstered, I would probably buy another one for myself next month 11.11?  Or maybe have custom seat covers made?

^ Just a thought, I wonder how much it will cost to have that reupholstered in real leather.

Are there any gaming chairs sold that're upholstered in real leather or alcantara?

is it the quality of the fabric used?  couldnt it be caused by the one using it?  seems like the areas that are worn out are the high contact surfaces.  if its leather, it would still wear out like that right?

i suggest you buy a new one since you wouldnt know how long the other parts would last.  reupholstering would cost a lot too right?
