Immortal nga yung words ni borat: Veeeeerrrry nayz! How matz?

Pero... And that's exactly the problem. The haw matz part. Imho, it would a more earth shaking development if local 4g can be offered for half or even 2/3 the price per gb and/or better speed or coverage.

I have this feeling that 5g is like having a 4k display on a phone. This 5g thing, i'll let the early adopters (gerbils?) have a go at it, let em post screenshots of this pricey, battery munching new fangled gimmick. Ok, i'll prolly be embracing this tech two years down the road, just like everybody else. But not today.
Will never, ever buy a SONY ever again.

Yes, need to change SIM. 40 peso cost for prepaid https://shop.globe.com.ph/products/prepaid-products/5g-sim?option=137075

@altec
Same as regular rate lang AFAIK. IMO the problem is the data cap. Globe's top plan P2999 includes 61GB of data if you get it without a device, or 30GB if you take your "free" phone. P999 is 11GB w/o device or 5GB with. At 5G download speeds ubos agad yun!

I'm getting 70 mbps at my residence.  Yun lang, my upload is just 2mbps.  Ganon ba talaga ang 5g?
