Transcend 300S 128GB microSD Review
« on: October 07, 2019, 06:50:08 PM »

One of the best things with smartphones is how easily you can upgrade its storage. You don’t have to purchase the highest capacity if you’re shooting for the storage since things get a whole lot cheaper if you just slot in a microSD card.

Transcend has kept its signature look when it comes to packaging as usual. The 300S comes in the familiar red and white blister pack. No extra flair here, of course. The company does include an SD card adapter so you can use it for other devices like cameras and laptops that only have SD card readers on it.

Transcend rates the 300S with 95MB/s read and 45MB/s write peak performance, and we’ll put it to the test with a couple of benchmarks on both the Realme C2 and the ASUS E203NAH.

ATTO Disk Benchmark

ATTO Disk Benchmark is an industry leading benchmark that help measure performance of system storage such as hard drives, solid state drives, RAID arrays, and so forth.

Crystal Disk Mark

Here are the benchmark results on the Realme C2:

If you’re looking for the most affordable microSD card in this capacity without compromise in performance, the Transcend 300S 128GB microSD card is worth your attention. It has the storage to boost your smartphone’s space for everything you need, and the performance is where it’s at. It’s priced quite competitively as well at Php950.00.
