That's what I was expecting too - it should be seen as a SATA drive regardless of the system it's plugged into.

One more peculiar thing I noticed with this SSD drive:

When I put it in a USB 2.0 enclosure and connect to my PS3, the PS3 reports something like "unknown USB device connected". I formatted it as FAT32 (as required by PS3) and that same enclosure is what I use on my PS3 with a 500GB HDD. So I'm stumped.
