Cataclysm was cool, specially the "pilot view" option.... but I still prefer Homeworld because of the story.
If you upgrade to HW 1.05, meron na rin yun pilot view.

Tried Cataclysm also but later tinamad ako. Na bad trip ako dun sa voice nung commander. Female voice din but can't compare with Karan Sajet's. Anyway, still hoping for the second serving of HW. Ang tagal naman ng 2003!

sandstig,

You had to bring this back didn't you =)? I also tried downloading the Babylon 5 conversion but I lost interest...Time to check the Macross site again. Am installing the game tonight...=) Errr, I'm sure you used to frequent Relic's messageboard.

from what i know.. only the freespace mod for HW2 is complete..  this mod is old but i wish they can incorporate the mod to HW2..

i really love the HW universe.. in all my life in gaming eh the HW universe is the only perfect blend of both story and graphics..

i'm gotta install this and see what happens., :-D

HomeWorld and Ground Control is under the  same umbrella. Finished Homeworld 2 and it was fun. Some of the missions seems hard but when you look into the enemy's strategy (after you lost) then you'll know how to beat them.

Macross and Robotech are THE top anime/cartoons of 80s and early 90s. So some kids won't know much about it but Macross 0 and Plus are the new ones.

That Macross mod is pretty good though.

ALIW! And this thread had to be resurrected once more. Definitely a testament to the high degree of innovation this game ushered forth.

Still...Homeworld's a TRULY great game and it's available as an original budget title at Datablitz ;).

Slightly related, and as a great intro to Relic Entertainment's latest offering:

What the heck, resurrecting for old time's sake. :) (check the date of the last post)

A Homeworld 3 would be nice... but I'm not sure people are gonna buy that they rebuilt the mothership a third time hehe.

I bought it last Friday and I've started playing it. I'm currently encountering the Cryo Tray/No End of Mission Bug over Kharak. :-(

I actually reinstalled Homeworld and am playing it again. It's one of those games that's so good that you replay the whole single player experience.
