Tips for Newbie PC Builder?

I wanted to ask how you guys decide on what to do for building your own Gaming PC. I am extremely interested in building one but also since I haven't done that before, I don't really know how to proceed.

Any tips, guys?

It's not as complicated before and make sure to watch guides online on how the components go together.

it starts with the budget, or how much am i willing to spend. 
will it be a buy everything now, or buy a basic system and upgrade from there.


as for actually building it, if it doesn't fit, don't force it ;)
