so i'm playing around with my old videocards, and i realized that my Quadro 4000 has two displayport output, which means it has 10bit (even 12bit) high res (monitor is 1440p) output. but problem is even at idle speeds, the Fermi based Quadro is just toooooo hot.
will be using the Quadro for gui, while my GTX 780 will be used as compute card for DaVinci resolve. also means no more gaming. LOL
plan is I'll transfer the heatsink of my GTX470 to the Quadro, both are Fermi if im not mistaken simlilar processor (GF100 or something like that). so hopefully the big-ass cooler will tame the fermi down.



will need to buy thermal paste agan, and some time so i could finish this project.
