Delta 80mm fan, Available locally?
« on: August 21, 2002, 10:07:13 PM »
Any idea where I can get these babies?... anything better than this...heard any rumor lately if this will be sold in XM?

Manufacturer: Delta

Model: FFB0812EHEF304P

Rated CFM: 80.2

Rated Noise: 52.2 dBA

Max speed: 5700 RPM

Power Consumption: 10.8 W

The monster of all case fans, the Delta delivers awesome cooling capability if your ears can handle it. If youíre going to use this fan a fan grille is a must, you could loose a finger or rip some cables off inside your case if you donít! Consuming a massive 10.8W this fan will take its toll on your power supply, not to mention if you decide to use two or more!

Although downvolting it to 7V will still make it deliver good airflow (in fact better than most 80mm fans at 12V!) this fan was never intended for that. This is the ultimate, non compromising cooling fan you can get. This is definitely intended for cooling down that processor allowing you to squeeze out those extra few MHz when overclocking.

Using a couple of these as case coolers will not only get you a cool case it will also give you the sound of a jumbo-jet!

oh yeah, you won't find it in retail stores.  find some people who import stuff.

dean,

i know dats why when I passed by XM earlier, I asked XiBlade if they have these mean Delta Fans but he said that they don't have them in stock currently but since I mentioned it anyway, they are now looking at the possibility of importing some.

And when these babies arrive, hell, ako naman ang mamamakyaw, BWAHAHA

Alaeh,

As a matter of fact they are available in XM....hindi nga lang 80 mm. We only have the 92 mm & 60 mm in stock right now.

But not as annoying as its 60 mm counterparts. Kse mas mababa yung pitch.

Alaeh,

Badong was an old member of PPC. Banned ata ngayon dahil inactive.

The 80mm Vantec Tornado TD8038H is a more powerful fan than the 80mm Delta EHE. The Vantec Tornado has an output of  84.1CFM at 5700RPM.

not necessarily. you can always use an ac/dc converter to power the fan(s). :)

I have a 120mm SUNON fan direct na 220 VAC but when I connected it with the 110 VAc of my AVR it works fine and doing great, silent and cool...

just look for it in Electronic shops... It is being used as an exhaust or instake fans for amplifiers...

may namakyaw sa HMR ng fans at heatsinks... ubos daw ang stock nila...
nevermind my rig!
