The whole Philippine archipelago is criss-crossed and bounded by faults, trench systems, collision/suture zones, etc. which are all potential earthquake generators... So there is no place safe in the Philippines except maybe Palawan when it comes to this natural phenomenon...



I guess we just have to live our lives as normal and at the same time, as best we can so when the time comes, we will be ready for whatever happens...

love then or hate them, faults and volcanoes will forever be in our lives.  what is important is that we understand what they are, how they behave and how to react when they decide to make their presence known.  also, we shouldn't behave like idiots and say something like ...
