wish someone would sell this in the retail market.  it's cheaper than the nord and i'm ok with the specs.

^ + killer feature of the Pixel phones is unlimited storage on Google Photos. A friend uses it to store all his stuff including videos and has terabytes of data in there. As might be expected search is big brother Google's best feature. You can search for a name, date, or place and it'll find all your pictures/videos relevant to the search.

LG Wing Teardown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxGI8r8vAFk

i just upgraded from a 4 year old LG V20 (which will live out the rest of its days as a remote control + video caster) but I want this phone so bad now. Surprisingly repairable with only minimal glue for the rear cover.

^ Has Motorola improved  software update support for their phones? I used to own the original Moto G and it had like, two updates and that was it.

I'm fine not having feature updates but security fixes are a must since I do online purchases and banking on my phone now.

^they're still not up there with the best, but they've been doing OK I guess.

even their G series is able to get at least an OS update

Moto G4 Plus ships with Android 6.0.1 and gets Android 8.0 (doesn't get 8.1 though)
Moto G5 Plus ships with Android 7.0 and gets Android 8.1
Moto G5S Plus ships with Android 7.1 and gets Android 8.1
Moto G6 Plus ships with Android 8.0 and gets Android 9.0
Moto G7 Plus ships with Android 9.0 and gets Android 10
