I binge watch "How it's Made" clips on Youtube....  and although it's not a a documentary, any episode of "Wheeler Dealers" is always a good watch.

Yeah. I like Wheeler Dealers. None of the "drama" of those other build/restore reality programs and more of showing how they actually do it and keeping tackiness to a minimum with the end result.

I love this series too. Lots of practical tips and DIY hacks with none of the contrived drama that some restoration shows have. Try the spin-off series Trading Up too.
