Military Channel - Great Planes: SR71 Blackbird

Holy crap! The whole thing is custom-forged (as opposed to cast) titanium alloy, and they had computer-controlled CnC to finish off those pieces. Ho-hum today, but let's not forget they started building this thing in the late 50s.

Bafta award.
Bronze Torc award for Excellence.

Worth watching because this stuff is real, not just in Ireland but everywhere.

BBC Two: The Shame of the Catholic Church

Decades of clerical abuse and cover up have left the Catholic church in Ireland at breaking point. Now Darragh MacIntyre reveals new evidence of a scandal that goes to the very top of the Irish church.

Mark Neale's - Faster https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-7zup6wxWY

The thing about motorcycle racing is you can see a man at work. If a guy  goes over the handlebars at a hundred-twenty miles an hour, his body language will tell you just what happened.

I really like how this docu was stitched together and narrated. It's one of the besssss. The feel is like straight  from a hemingway book.
