Help with watercooling project
« on: August 11, 2009, 12:25:25 PM »
Circa 2007, TNT2Bluz practically gave me a watercooling setup but I have never had the time to install it on my E4300. Seeing as how next year I may get a Core i7, I might as well install the watercooling setup and maximize my current rig.

I'm looking for tips on how to build it. I'll probably take pictures next week during my week-long leave. It'll be the perfect time to build it.

Particularly my problem right now would be where to mount the radiator and where to get a better reservoir. I bought a tupperware-like container as the reservoir. I guess that should work for now? Hehe.

any water-tight reservoir would be okay.  have a 120mm exhaust port at the back or front of the case?  you can rivet it there

yes, there's a 120mm exhaust port but i need to redo the hole since only an 80mm is fitted. but i'm told by athlonfan that a 120mm should fit

Sure man. My only problem is time. Even with my week long leave I wasn't able to touch my PC. I was too busy with university stuff and stuff at home.
