What are you watching?
Dexter - A serial killer who also happens to be working for the police as a forensics expert as the main protagonist is just wow. Partly narrative, which sinks your brain to the who, why, how. The twist at the end of season 1 was totally not expected coming from a series made in Hollywood. They are getting better and better.
Burn notice - Set in Miami. A spy recently disavowed by the US Government uses his Special Ops training to help others in trouble. There are also education segments when he turns ordinary household items into counter intelligence devices.
Psych - Why wasn't I watching this before.
Middleman - 60s scifi alien monster show. Not for everyone. Dialogue is like "Goshdang It To Heck," "Gee golly whiz," "Grapes of wrath Dubby" It all seems like random banter, but when you let it float for a bit, then bam the comedy hits you - well something like that.
mentalist - saw a preair, seems like a serious version of psych. Hyperobservant.
The cleaner - "The Cleaner," inspired by the true story of a real-life "extreme interventionist," stars Benjamin Bratt as William "The Cleaner" Banks, who, after hitting rock-bottom from his own addictions after the birth of his daughter, strikes a tentative deal with God. Now along with his unconventional team, he helps people get away from their addictions by any means necessary.
Weeds - Elizabeth Perkins. Comedy about a suburban mother turned marijuana dealer.
Fringe - x-files clone.
