I was in grade 6 when the Metric System was implemented back in 1979 or 1980.  I sang this song along with other students on stage. But I do not remember much of the lyrics anymore. 

Sayang lang they stopped singing this in our schools.  This song has helped me a lot during my high school and college days.

All I can remember is:

Just multiply inches by two point five four  and then you'll get centimeters.

The feet multiplied by point three-o-five, will give you equivalent meters.

The gallons times three point seventy nine will give you equivalent liters.

it is easy to change from english to metric, the system is fine if you know it.

so let convert from english to metric, well do it and share it and show it.

subtract 32 from degrees farenheit, the result keep it in mind, when you multiply by five over nine, you get celcius this time.
