But last December 25, we gave a special Christmas speed boost that doubled the internet speed of our existing Fibr subscribers that day,” said Maxine Loyola, AVP for PLDT-Smart brand PR, as sent to us via private message.

Anyone here on the Fibr Google Mesh Wifi Plan? Did they send and tech to install? Basically I want to know if PLDT put the ONU in bridge mode to take advantage of the Google Mesh without requiring the subscriber to sign a waiver.

Slightly off-topic: PT&T not quite getting 100Mbps upload...

They also seem affected by the ongoing Google DNS hijack:
https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2019/04/ongoing-dns-hijackings-target-unpatched-consumer-routers/

Firefox was throwing security errors accessing Google/GMail via PT&T, but they work ok when connecting via PLDT.

^ Same here. Internet went down for about an hour last night and when it came back on naka-CGNAT na. Hamachi is back in vogue.

Was expecting this to happen eventually as Fibr subscribers increase. We really need IPv6.

yes.  its true.  they do give speedboost.  but you could just visit pldt.com.ph/speedboost and input your landline number there.  it will text you an OTP on your registered mobile from pldt.  i got my speedboost a few weeks ago already

Getting slowdowns ong my Fibr connection. A lot of cables must have gotten severed by the storm.

probably also the reason why ipv6 on my end is spotty.  changing it back to tunnel 6to4 until the native ipv6 works again
