for the past week, my connection has slow and intermittent. i had tried playing guild wars with thakker but my ping was so bad it was hitting 1k+ ms, according to guild wars' indicator. thakker told me to ask pldt's support if our connection at home can be transferred to another node.
the csr told me that he could not just do it because we would be transferred to another platform. i didn't ask him to elaborate on what it means, and since i'm frustrated, i just told him to send him someone to our house this weekend, and i'll be talking to that person.
calling for support is always a pain, the questions are the same. yeah, i know it's their standard and protocol, but still.
"sir, may router po ba kayo? baka po yung router ang may problema. try mo nyo pong direct connection."
which i always respond with "sinabi ko na kanina yung problema. yung modem na bigay nyo, namamatay yung ilaw ng adsl. so kahit irekta ko yan, kung walang ilaw, walang connection."
hay... and i am thinking of upgrading our plan to a higher one.
