overclockable pc?

oldpc is amd k6 -500 mobo is PC100 sis 530
something..w/  built in sound and video card. with  160mb ram (pc100 64mb + 64mb
+ 32mb). . 1 10 gig hd .. on winME. lan card for cable internet..
is this pc overclockable???anyone with the same specs??

To find out if you have overclocking options, check the motherboard.  The manual should state if you can set the FSB or multiplier.

Go to overclockers.com and see if they have articles about K6 overclocking.  Start from there.

if that's a K6-2 classic, probably the most you can get out of that is a 50mhz increase in clock speed.  Unlocked naman yung multiplier nyan eh, adjust i the multiplier in the mobo, if possible

if i remember it right, there were two manufacturers who released sis530 based mobos sa Pinas, Jetway and Zida(Tomato). I was able to fix computers with almost the same specs as yours.
