It was bad enough in the 90's with just PC Options operating...

Although I haven't bought anything there since then.

Last time I bought something there was about a year ago, when I bought a LianLi case, Asrock Dual sata II mobo and A64 3000+ proc from PC Options.

Most of my purchases are now from our local computer here in Angeles and TPC.

I'm more wary now reading your tale of woe.

those people handing out those leaflets... parang mga bugaw minsan.

One of our computers here is due for upgrade due to Aion. It used to have a GeForce 6600GT. Seeing as it's using a vintage card, it was waaaaay time to upgrade it. I was in SM City Annex Cyberzone and asked all the shops there but none of them had decent enough cards. Most had the 9500GT, another had a GTS250 (which is overpriced). The only one that had the 9600GT would put a 6.5% surcharge for a credit card purchase.

Just today, I went to PC Options with good friends to buy them new computers. I decided to try my luck at buying a 9600GT or 9800GT in Gilmore as well. The big names had them but PC Corner wouldn't allow me to charge a video card. PC Options didn't like my Citibank VISA. They only prefer Mastercard or Diners. So I had to go to literally the last store I entered there: PC Express. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the sales guy was easy to talk to, the technical section allowed me to peruse the card before purchase and best of all the cashiers didn't give me a hard time charging it to my VISA.

But still, Gilmore is such a marketplace now. They were even blasting love songs, lol.

Their problem has never been in the selling but in the replacing.
