i wonder... can it run four memory modules at 200MHz? my NForce4-based system locks up randomly and I think it's the same case with many others across different motherboard brands.

i have a feeling that the NForce 410 inherits the same problem. because if that's the case, the already small avenue for upgrade/expansion might be reduced further.

Couldn't have written it better myself. Kudos sir Louie for the very detailed review of the 9gf6100-M.

This board is amazing and I bought one for my main pc.

If you're one of those guys who's still desperately clinging on to their Socket A systems, trying so hard to keep it at par with current systems by buying newer videocards and faster memory, I say just save your money and get this board. It will be an easy transition into the Socket 939 world. The onboard 6100 video kept me busy for a week playing DoTA at high detail, before I got my 7600gs.

9gf6100-M + A64 3000+ + 7600gs = teh bam buget upgrade!!!

Al, that's a limitation in the chipset itself. Pretty weird, eh?

Forgot to mention, apparenty some of the boards (not all samples) have faulty voltage and temp readout, like mine which made me resort to using the temp monitoring diode of the nemesis case.

But aside from that its a sweet board.

This is a nice cheap board. Now I'm having second thoughts about getting the Mac Mini and instead get a cheap PC. Only drawback is the lack of a Firewire slot, w/c I desperately need, damn.
