Just watched Let Me In and I must say it has got to be the best vampire or even horror movie of the past decade. I saw the trailer for "Let The Right One In" last year and completely forgot about watching the movie. -edit- Which is actually a Swedish film adaptation of a novel of the same name in 2008.

Its the main characters Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee) and Abby (ChloŽ Moretz) that makes the it so compelling to watch. With all the crap vampire themed movies that hollywood has been giving us, this just schooled everyone else. Abby has got to be one of the best iconic horror characters ever. She's up there next to Jigsaw, Jason Vorhees and Mike Myers. I've got to say ChloŽ Moretz kicks ass (pun intended).

Just saw the landmark film "This is spinal tap." No one sees rock metal, even bands in general the same way again after viewing it.

This is the top of the heap right here. No question about it. 1959. It. Is. Just. Un-belieeevable. It's famous for it's sustain... you could take a bite and you'll still be hearing it.
Will never, ever buy a SONY ever again.

Speaking of novels turned films:

http://www.norway-mori.com/top.html <--- trailer here

Loved the book, might as well watch the film adaptation. No chance of watching it on the big screen here (except eiga sai maybe) so i'll just wait when there are web links to it...

Most people would say that the original is better. With that at least I watched the US version first, I'll try not to have high expectations on the original as not to spoil it. I'm still waiting for my copy of the Swedish version. Just watch both versions.
