How many human lanterns are there?

there's hal jordan, kyle, john, and a new purple lantern (or was it indigo).

so 4 as far as i know.

How about Sheldon Cooper of TBBT:P

If you're including Sheldon then make that 6 (Sheldon's Lantern originally belonged to Raj)...

What's up with Ryan Reynolds being cast as different comic book characters? Hannibal in Blade, Deadpool in X-Men origins, and now Green Lantern? Comic book continuities are confusing enough as it is, and the fact that one character can be played by different actors in different movies... Why have the same actor act as different characters?

^fanservice for the ladies

One reason, just my opinion, majority of the movie going public doesn't really care about the details, etc. as long as they get their cinema fix.  And/or its all about the benjamins, RR being the "it guy" lures them, and hollywood cashes in.

shit happens.

The consequence is that now that he has a major DC character role, he can now only have minor Marvel character roles.
