Just watched Wanted while waiting for my son to finish his exam at Mapua.   Entertaining with all the mayhem and action.  Will watch it again.  The director is Timur Bekmambetov of the famous NightWatch series.

Loved the Nightwatch/Daywatch movies - its something different like the Pan's Labyrinth/Hellboy director. The lead actor for Nightwatch/Daywatch was also in Wanted (and touched lips with Angie - twice! hehe).

Wanted really is entertaining as was said - its like watching Nightwatch/Daywatch without the truck with the race stripes  >:D

The last thing he said closed the movie perfectly  >:

Went to the mall to see Wall-E. But shocked to find out that it's not yet released here. The poster I saw said the release date is August 13 (WTF?).

I hope they release it soon here.

Through links off an obscure forum, i was able to watch Linda, Linda, Linda

A very memorable little art flick.  Lightly humorous at times, pretty poignant at other times, sometimes it's even both at the same time; overall a  laidback, slice-of-life kind of film. Soundtrack is by no less than James Iha ('pumpkins guitarist, OST sounded like it was from his solo album, with the light acoustic guitar that i could imagine him start singing "little darling girl... you're such a fragile shell...".) Other notable songs were composed by well regarded jap punk bands that i'm grateful this movie introduced me to.

Japan Foundation will have a screening in shangrila this july and incidentally this film is included... here's a link for the schedule:
http://www.jfmo.org.ph/events_schedule.htm

(Don't quote me on this one but I've watched film fests -jap, brit, french,- over the years at shangrila and tickets usually were free or cost 20 bucks- an additional incentive for some of you guys to watch.)
Will never, ever buy a SONY ever again.

napapangitan ako sa WANTED.
they can bend bullets to hit target and never misses, pero kung mga main characters are naglalaban puro miss.

Dark Knight was pretty good.

Its main problem, I think, is that it says a lot of things, and it has to juggle them all coherently.  But for the most part it does that very well.

Heath Ledger certainly went out with a huge bang...this was an astounding last movie for him.  Totally incredible performance.

Dark knight blew me away. best movie in years.
my only gripe is the rachel character. maggie gyleenhal(?) is more of a bestfriend type of actress than a leading lady.
