ALLUSIONS AND DELETED SCENES IN THE INCREDIBLE HULK:
ALLUSIONS
~ Captain America - Ross talks to Blonsky about the super soldier serum that was tested in WWII and was put on ice. There is supposedly a scene that didn't make the cut where Banner goes to Antarctica to kill himself. When he shoots himself, he becomes the Hulk and smashes an iceberg. The same iceberg which is supposed to contain Captain America
~ Thor - A freak lightning storm allows Hulk to escape a battle with Ross and the army. Also when Hulk and Betty are in the caves, a lightning bolt seems to strike or frighten Hulk. This is an allusion to an old issue of Hulk where Thor strikes Hulk.
~ Daredevil - After Banner drops from the helicopter and falls through the city streets, everyone is running away in panic and there is smoke and sparks everywhere. There is a man seen swinging through the smoke. There is a question as to whether or not this is Spiderman but it is more likely to be Daredevil as Spiderman would not just be swinging by as these two enormous creatures are destroying the city. There is also speculation of the Daredevil franchise being redone or continued once Marvel regains the rights ( much like Hulk).
DELETED SCENES:
~ The scene between Banner and Doc Samson in which Samson says "See a shrink", and Banner replies "It's a bit more complicated than that."
~ The meeting in which Blonsky describes the Hulk to General Greller as "8 foot, 1500 pounds even... and green."
~ A scene showing General Greller angered about General Ross's "bioforce project".
~ A scene of Banner walking along a snowy hillside (there was rumored to be a fight between Hulk and some type of polar being, possible a bear or even a whale)]
