KStar 1200KVA UPS from Shopee.

I already own a KStar 1000KVA. It works fine. The 600VA UPS isn't enough for my setup. I decided to level up a bit and pass the 1000VA to my son.

KStar 1000VA and 1200VA  use 2 12V batteries.

how much did you get it for?

Globe LTE Mobile WiFi

^ Can you load the HomeWatch/HomeSurf promos on those?

We've been using the Globe and Smart HomeWifi kits for staffers working from home because it offers so much more data per $ compared to the mobile plans. P999 is like 100GB/mo. Works via LTE, but the device is a modem designed to be used at home. You can probably take it with you using a powerbank and a DC-DC converter though.

One of our guys tried taking out the SIM and using it in a phone but no dice.

^ Speaking of UPSs APC's 2000VA is currently P2.3k at PCX. I dunno if they're getting rid of old model stocks but it's even cheaper than generic brands.

Getting storage for Black Friday:
10TB WD Elements for shucking at P8,450 ea
1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus at P7,700

and some fresh foam pads and leatherette fabric to refresh crumbling faux leather pads on some old headphones

Is that the one that oscillates? We have 2 and it still works great after 2 years. Granted power outages are not that frequent and we use it when staying at the memorial park.

New CPU to replace my Phenom II AMD 780G rig:

Ryzen 5 3400G
ASUS A320 mobo
PNY XLR8 RGB 16GB RAM
Wifey ended up getting this new CPU and I end up with her 11-month old Ryzen 3 3200G, Gigabyte B450 mobo, with Gskill Ripjaws 8GB RAM. She needed the upgrade just because she needs Zoom background for work and Zoom requires a Ryzen 5 as minimum. Honestly, I don't understand why a Ryzen 3 wouldn't be able to handle Zoom.

I was supposed to swap the 16GB RAM with the 8GB but for some reason the new rig's ASUS mobo wouldn't boot up with the Gskill RAM. All things considered, I don't think it's a bad exchange considering the B450 mobo would let me OC the Ryzen 3.

He's referring to the Virtual Background feature I think where AMD Ryzen curiously starts with R5 and excludes R3.
Plain old Zoom will run even on Atom-based stuff (1GHz or higher single core)

Yes, Zoom virtual background. I forgot what it was called and forgot the "virtual" part of the name.

Her boss wants to see a clean background instead of our bed room wardrobe.  ???

^ Super deal!

So far I've never had a problem ordering with Amazon (aside from one book that got super delayed coz of COVID lockdown).

Fingers crossed run of good luck continues.
