I tried to use a Multi-I/O card from my old stuff into a new PC, and when I turned it on, the card actually blew a bright shimmering light for half a second...the chipset actually burned at a corner...

killed my beloved BE6-II after going through so many video cards.  it was my test system back then...had to change video cards very often just to benchmark them and publish reviews.

I blew up my mom's monitor[win 3.1 era, I was a little kid back then]
effect: I got to choose between a black and brown belt.
what did I do: I chose brown, damn my @$$ was tortured
lesson learned: choose the black belt, it has velvet on it.

lesson learned: choose the gaming shops nearest to your house.

But then they'd know where you live!  Not a good idea when hiding =).

My worst experience would be when I blew up the powre supply for the floppy drive on my brother's

Oh yes, I remember. Was setting a new rig for a friend last two days ago, while installing the video card I didn't notice that my left thumb finger is bleeding. Damn sharp edges of cheap atx case slice a bit of my flesh.

my worst experience is my second time flashing my BIOS (865pe neo2 fis2r)....

progress bar appears....

clearing NVRAM.... then error comes....

and boom... after that... restart and my mobo's dead... =)

buti na lng napalitan..... how lucky?

and same with Yakuini.... i hate sharp edges... parati ata ako me sugat pag gumagawa ng rig eh... =P hehehe

hehehehhe

this is where people put in their rig specs in an attempt to look kewl, act 133t, and get chicks.

the first time i assembled a computer almost two years ago.....

After putting it all together and plugging it in to the wall socket, i press the front panel power button. i got nothing, just a blank screen. I checked all connections, and they were ok. I removed the motherboard, re-seat the proc, re-installed the memory modules, re-connect everything, and turned it on again. Again, nothing... I was getting desperate......then i notice....i forgot to turn on the f&*%i$g psu switch at the back!
