Best Cable TV + Broadband Internet combo in Las Pinas?
« on: August 07, 2004, 04:02:53 PM »
Anyone with suggestions on the best Cable TV + Broadband Combo in Las Pinas?

I want to get my GF a new setup and im currently in the states.

The combo im looking for doesnt neccesarily need to come from the same company, but the braodband has to be relatively fast as we webcam and voice chat a lot. I suppose getting her a broadband connection is a lot better than spending $$ on phone cards here.

Looking for the most bang for the buck combo.

Tnx!

Las Piņas? Best broadband would be PLDT DSL.

If you absolutely need a cable + broadband combo, I think the only one available here is Destiny Cable, but it's not available in all areas of LP.

No, I'm using PLDT MyDSL. But according to MyDestiny's website they have Cable Internet in some ares of LP.. I also sometimes see their Daihatsu service cars with 'Cable Internet' logos around here.

Try http://www.mydestiny.net/dci/modules.php?name=Start and search for Casimiro.

Try mo Bell Tel. Cable internet @ 256 kb/s w/ CATV, 2.3K a month. very fast connections, averaging 170-200 kb/s according to various bandwidth measurement sites. Bilis pa ng installation/appplication. I inquired nun Monday, filed my application over the fone yesterday and now, I'm on broadband.

I'm in the Diliman area, btw.

I'm looking for cable internet in BF homes.  So far the only one I found is Destiny but I want to have some options, is there any other cable internet provider?  On destiny's website it does not indicate the access speed which is kind of sketchy to me.

Thanks in advanced

minimum 56kbps (when you're unlucky) maximum 1Mbps (if you're lucky)
