guys, hope you bear with my simple questions:
which of these 2 will "require" you to increase vcore?
a. increasing fsb
b. increasing multiplier
is the fsb always adjustable?
adjustable ba ang fsb ng mga palominos? i have a 1800+ palomino w/ an ecs k7vta3, pero i saw in this link that the same setup was overcloced to 1.725ghz from 1.5ghz.
meron akong nakita sa cpudatabase.com
both a and b involve a change in the cpu clock speed. thus, we can't say straight out which of those will need you to raise your cpu core voltage. so what i suggest is to try raising either and/or both in small steps. if it doesn't post, then that's when you try to raise the voltage. fsb overclocking will be trickier since you also have to consider the fsb of your memory as a consequence of your changing your cpu fsb setting.
is the fsb always adjustable? - yes, you can adjust it with your motherboard.
adjustable ba ang fsb ng mga palominos? - the fsb of any cpu can be adjusted. all you need is a motherboard that can adjust the fsb settings.
