thanks bro.. =)

why dont you go MR2? there are lots of 2nd hand ones w/ still mint condition, you just have to trick it up for your taste and imo much cheaper and performs better than buying a brand new miata..

@lahar:

mahaba na ang pinagdaanang comparisons ng mx-5 at mr2.  but casting aside all practicalities, lolz, i'd still go with mr2.

im not sure boss.. and i forgot his surname but he has the best company for any car restoration projects.. like what he did on the 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500..

Practicalities? I think practicalities are out of the equation with these (at least in the Philippines) relatively rare cars hehe. I'm just checking out a future project car. Something to "rice up" (yup that's not a typo).

MR2 = good tuning potential in terms of powering it up but i hear it's prone to oversteer.  a friend who drives a mivec'd lander says that some of the mr2 boys of the mr2 club can't keep up with him on the uphill.

in TRS interclub trackday at BRC, my friend's 93T'd lancer easily smoked the mr2s we were with.

I guess the torque is on the low side. I'm not into speed (well maybe a little), handling is more important for me.

Justice?  Supreme court?  CoA?  I saw another one kasi on the road (EDSA)... 10 din, pero AAA naman.

Now, what's more suprising was the vehicle it was attached to.... a VW Tuareg...
