Yeah Honda is definitely charging a premium. Seems like people aren't buying it though.

I hardly see any on the road and if you look at classifieds the same units that have been posted for the last two years are still for sale.

One of those hoarders perhaps?

I only ever saw 2 on the road since 2017.

Yeah probably someone who was speculating that prices would go up coz limited supply.
As for demand though... I don't know anyone who would buy one. It looks fugly and is full of fake vents.

https://www.caradvice.com.au/890136/company-offering-tesla-electric-crate-motor-to-fit-older-v8-cars/

Looking to upgrade the V8 in your Holden? American company EV West has created an electric motor which will bolt directly into the engine mounts for a small block engine.

Using a Tesla drive unit, the 'crate motor' allows owners of rear-wheel-drive V8 cars to upgrade to a fully-electric powertrain.

^ Interesting little car. Haven't had the chance to sit in it but I like the boxy looks.

Dunno if the price is low enough for people to pick it over the Wigo/Brio (I think it's like P50k difference to the base Wigo, P80k to the Brio).

At its price bracket though I'd shop used instead. You can get a 2012-2013 Innova or Accord for the price.

Pretty cute, my officemate got one recently to keep from using public transport. Maybe wait for the 2nd gen though, manual lang kasi option ngayon eh (yes manual is good but with the traffic and if you want one for the wife/ladies).
