1997: i486DX 8mb RAM, 212mb HD
1999: Pentium II 350MHz asus p2b, 64mb RAM, 4Gb HD (later upgraded to 20Gb)
2001: Pentium III 733MHz p3v133, 256mb RAM (later upgraded to 512) HD was waterfalled (the 20gb from PII)
2003: Athlon XP 1700+ k7s5a(later replaced with km400) 512mb RAM (later upgraded to 1.5Gb), 40Gb HD (later added lotsa HD, can't remember all)
2005: Athlon XP 2200+ (just replace the procie)
2006: Pentium 4 HT 3.06GHz FSB133 [1.86GHz to 3.6GHz unlocked multiplier] p965t, 1Gb RAM, ATI V3100, lotsa HD
2007: Pentium Dual Core e2140 running at 1.2GHz (just need a low power rig, i don't do games anymore) - just upgraded the procie from prev setup


just an update
Dec2007Celeron 215 (D201GLY board) although I still have the e2140, this is now my main rig, goes to show that I only do "light" computing nowadays, just torrent, office apps, internet, and a little programming (netbeans, vs2008) i'll probably up my e2140 in january, when I have time to do something...

another update:
2008: T5750 (from a Y410 lappie) 2GHz/2Mb/667MHz FSB, 2Gb RAM, 160Gb Drive
-also upgrade the board for my E2140 from P965T to G33T-M2
