Some Want-to-have's
« on: April 07, 2006, 09:52:24 AM »
admins,

when i'm at this page:
http://www.pinoypc.net/modules/news/
can we have a pulldown menu like the ones 'inside' the threads where we can jump from one forum to the other (software, hardware, lounge, etc).

also, if i am in the main lounge thread, can we have another sidebar column to show what other posts are new/active in the other threads?

just a thought.

This will be taken into consideration. Dunno when we can implement yet, though.

I'd like to have the threads with most recent posts somewhere on the page on whatever thread I'm viewing.

Kung pwede lang po. :)
I don't have a sig.  Wouldn't know what to put even if I had one.

How about a list of threads with newest posts as a sidebar? Like what we do with news and articles

I increased the latest topics to 15 from 10 on the main page.

I'll be working on the sidebar for the latest topics soon.

I was looking at how to enable the sidebar. I can quickly do that but at the cost of the Recent Topics in the main page. I'm looking for a workaround.

Some suggestions po:

- When searching for something in posts, how about it links us to the exact page the query was found? Not just linking to the thread.

- The comments on the news need a little fixing.

Yung search mahihirapan tayong ayusin yun kasi dapat sa site migration mas bagong version sana ng xoops ang gamitin. Dito sa version na ito ganyan talaga limitation.

there's a poll on the right. polls in ipboard are a no-go unless we're able to migrate the site. the last attempt failed miserably.
