razer viper 8khz
if the optical switches on these end up developing double clicking issues then I swear to god I'll just revert to using cheap disposable mice
yeah.  damned expensive mouse doing those double clicking is really annoying.  one of the many reasons why we buy the expensive ones is because we do not want these kinds of problems

btt:  bought the inphic mouse just recently.  hahaha!  i got the one with silent left and right click.  hopefully it doesnt develop that double clicking issue

bought a lot of piso deals from shopee just now.  those products are still good even if i only paid 1php for each of them

After having problems with my mouse scroll wheel (random reversing) and following this discussion, I decided to buy one of these optical switch mouse. However I chose the cheaper Razer Viper Mini for Php1246 net of all promos. It seems legit as the PC detected it indeed as Razer and immediately downloaded and attempted to install the bloatware.

The price has significantly increased on the link.

^^^I have it on a USB switch so I can share the mouse and keyboard between two PCs. Every time I switch PCs, the driver tries to install Razer's bloatware again. Of course I cancel the installation but it's annoying.

I think there's also a problem with the USB switch. The mouse sometimes becomes unresponsive for a few seconds and then resumes. If I plug the mouse directly to the PC, it seems fine. Maybe it's not the mouse was defective (prompting me to buy a new mouse) but the USB switch. The USB switch brand is UGreen.

Not sure if this will work for you:

Regarding the USB switch, it happens to me occasionally too but it happens more often on one desktop PC than the other. Mine is Aimos brand. I don't think it's the switch though. I think it's just the PC being slow in detecting the USB device.

Crucial Ballistix RGB 2x8gb 3600c16 DDR4 kit, SGD110 was too cheap to resist.  When it arrives I can open 4 chrome tabs instead of 2, or run a VM for laughs.

Not a bad deal considering you don't have to shuck plus you get 5 years warranty.

Must be my tito tech instincts kicking in, having experienced first hand and read the carnage on usenet. Any HDD named *****star I wouldn't dare touch with an ESD grounded 10 foot pole. Deskstar, deathstar, even if it became hitachi or something. Maybe even if it's an SSD it'll still be bad juju.
Will never, ever buy a SONY ever again.

^ Hitachi really turned that ship around.

For half a decade or so now Hitachi was (IIRC still is) at the very top of Backblaze's reliability surveys, with an annual failure rate well below 1%.
