those SJW excrement are the reason why Marvel comics dived in quality in recent years. also responsible for turning one of the coolest X-Men characters around Iceman into Icegay. sheesh.

I think even before the showing, it was not as promoted as Rogue One was.

Watched the 317th Platoon. It is quite realistic, especially the river ambush scene and retreat.

Watched Ocean's Eight last night.

Not as intelligent heist as the previous Ocean series but still entertaining.

not sold on the trailer of the upcoming bumblebee movie. seems more like fanservice to me than a real attempt to make a good Transformers movie.

the Joker movie on the other hand, seems promising based on the short clip shown. i hope DC doesn't screw that up.

I dunno, it's directed by the kubo guy so storytelling wise it seems like it's in good hands (unless theres lots of studio meddling) but what really got me sold are the character designs, gen 1 with a lot of emphasis on shape language, none of that ugly bayformer designs

Spoilers maybe  !!!

Venom - around 31% on rotten tomato and also critically bashed.

post black panther, the usual pattern for origin story wont cut it anymore . and Venom is just that , everthing seen before, the USUAL struggling hero, the USUAL love/lost love story, the USUAL badguy type, the USUAL punchlines....

also for me, Tom Hardy just doesn't fit as eddie brock.

The House With A Clock In Its Walls

I know she's almost 50 but Cate Blanchett's pretty hot.
