Interesting article on the newer P4s with 533 MHz FSBs:

http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/article/1505.1/

Spells the need for PC1066 RDRAM modules.

The VIA solution looks good.  I just hope that they get a license with intel so the big name m/b manufacturers could start making them.

But I'd still go for RDRAM modules if ever I get a 533 MHz P4 :).

And yet another benchmark article:  PC1066 vs DDR333 ram

http://www.tweakers.com.au/articles/cpu_mem/rdram_ddr/page1.asp

But DDR-RAM held their own here, only a fraction slower as the reviewer stated.

I made this post on another thread but I think it's more relevant here...

DDR SDRAM:

133*2 =266MHz (266MHz*8 bytes = 2.128 GB/s) PC2100
166*2 =332MHz (332Mhz*8 bytes =  2.656 GB/s) PC2700

RDRAM:

PC400*2 = PC800 (PC800*2 = 1.6 GB/s) PC800
(1.6 GB/s) *2 = 3.2 GB/s (dual pumped RDRAM because of 850,
