Title: WinXP randomly and mysteriously looks for a floppy disk

For winxp users: Anyone experience winxp looking for a floppy disk even if your're not asking it to look for one? It randomly pops up a window. Here's the msg that the pop-up window have...

anyway, i frequently noticed the FDD light flashes at random points especially noticing them when I change desktop scheme's... i wonder why is this so or how I can disable this one.

check your event viewer... hopefully, you'll see a warning message...  if you're lucky, you'll also see which app is trying to access your FDD...

i already checked the event viewer but it only shows the same msg that shows with the pop-up window. (see first post)

baka may virus ka!....i never got that any of that message!!!! o di kaya may tama na ang explorer mo!

It's not a virus and I'm sure. I did a virus scan and it didn't find any virus. (Of course, my virus dat files are up to date)

maybe you need to update virus definitions again?  it's already 2018 :)
