8.8.8.8 is my primary and 9.9.9.9 is my secondary DNS.

^ in that case you get no protection at all from 9.9.9.9. It should be set as primary if it's to do its job.

I have it the other way around. Quad9 for the primary DNS and Google DNS for the secondary.

Works fairly transparently and I haven't encountered any issues yet with my browsing.

Tried it, pero parang may "very slight" delay na ang pag-load ng sites, PPC included.

nice.  i tried accessing a "phishing" site using my firefox browser with google dns.  it seems firefox also blocks the site.  the quad9 dns may just be an additional filter in case the website goes through firefox.  thanks for the link!
