« on: January 08, 2017, 11:59:01 AM »
patulong guys...

i have here an old Samsung N150 Plus netbook that's sluggish with too many malwares.

i have made backups of important files to the second partition. I don't have an external hdd atm..

Question, will i lose the backup if i do a factory reset?

unfortunately yes. factory reset means that it will be reset to be exactly like when it came out of the factory. best to backup to an external drive.

yup, factory reset will wipe clean everything that is installed and saved in your netbook.

even on the second partition?  i thought it was only the OS that gets wiped.  anyway, its better to be safe than sorry
