Happened to me last night after I read the first post.  I clicked on "Home" and I got logged out.  Tested it again just now and the problem isn't there anymore.

^ it comes and goes...

I first encountered it about a month ago for a couple of days and then it just went away...
it came back a couple of days ago and it's been plaguing me since.

I'll try using IE and FF and see if it's a browser (chrome) issue.

FF 4 doesn't seem to be affected by this... Chrome and IE9 both are.

Update:

It's confirmed (well, on my end at least)... this peculiarity affects Chrome and IE
FF 4 is immune to it.

what's odd about it... no settings or software/applications were ever changed/installed/uninstalled on the machine when this started... not even a system update.

was wondering about this, first I though that I was being kicked out once I switch between computers (between ArchLinux and Windows7, both using FF), but now whenever I close the browser, the first time I visit PPC, I'll still be logged on, but once I clicked on anything, I will be logged out
