Blogs for our writers?
« on: July 15, 2006, 07:23:55 AM »
I noticed a number of tech sites now feature blogs of its writers. Could we do the same with PPC? That couls lead to fresh content more often.

sounds like a good idea, as long as it doesnt degrade to an "attendance blog" or "what-did-i-buy-today blog"  ^_^

perhaps anything to do with PCs (or gadgets too). like a recent great product purchase, experience with a lousy tech support, predictions of upcomming trends, etc.

I stumbled upon this blog.

http://www.yugatech.com/

It's quite what I envisioned years ago for PPC. It seems quite popular and the writer is earning from it. I hope PPC can somehow duplicate its success. Sure, it's not as in depth or technical as hard core menyeks would like (a criticism of my very first article for PPC ) but it gets results - visits and cash.

--edit--

Now that I looked at the time stamps, it's almost exactly a 4 year gap.

I've met yuga during some blog EB's years ago.
yeah, he's quite famous (so to speak) and afaik, full time blogger sya.

unlike most of us here who just pass by PinoyPC whenever we have idle time.

just saying.

Indeed. But part time writing is possible as well.

I am not forcing this idea on any member, I'm just tossing it around hoping that perhaps an old timer or even a newbie can catch the potential I am explaining here.

@ Seph why dont you start it up? we still have that blog on the main page (www.pinoypc.net). others might follow suit if they suddenly feel like it.

I've been on it since the other day. I rummaged around my old hardware till I found a functional hard drive. I'll install The recently released Ubuntu 10.04 and give my impressions. Not an in depth review though.
