"He who FORMATs and runs away will be forced to troubleshoot again, one a different day"

hey, but sometimes, formating solve the problem, especially kung sobrang dami na mga trash files sa HDD... hehe =)

I would like to propose a rule for this section:

More than in the other sections, it is important that the thread starter, i.e. the one who has the problem, must resolve to keep the thread updated. Meaning, if he is given a suggested solution, he should post any results arising from the suggested solution. So if it was not effective or if in fact it solved the problem, we all who are actively involved in this PPC section will benefit.

It is frustrating for many of us who spend time analyzing PC problems and posting solutions in a hopefully easy to understand and follow procedure, then not get any feedback, not even [bold]"Your solution not only did not work, it totally trashed my system"[/bold] Why, its enough to make one feel psychotic, talking to the air. . .

PC? nakikita mo ba akong nagpo-post tungkol sa PC?

And...try to do all sorts of tshooting first, then enumerate what you've done. Pero when tshooting, remember you have to eliminate the other factors. For example, no post/no vid. Ask yourself, is it really a no post/no vid situation? Is the monitor dead? How about the power led? Fans working? Are you sure you've checked all the connections? Then try to eliminate external possibilities such as a busted fuse or wall socket, external devices, then say removing/adding parts one by one, and listening to say beep codes, until you reach the point where you've tried all the possibilities. HTH.

unorthodox troubleshooting guide (teh tamad guide of not removing the motherboard while in the case)

80% of the time, di kailangan hampasin ang kaha. unless loloko ka o mainit ang ulo mo.
