Vcool is highly recommended. Good cooling app for VIA chipset boards. Will definitely bring down your temps to 10 degrees. Wag lang muna yung beta, medyo buggy pa eh. But ver. 1.7 is very stable.

Good for overclockers. =)

Drempels

Also a good app. It's a screensaver and a desktop enhancement. Cool ito. Now you can have moving /animated desktop. Pwede nyo rin lagay picture ng syota niyo and watch it move, swirl and disfigure your GF's face.

GTRipple

Another Desktop Enhancement. GTRipple ripples your desktop wallpaper making water pictures come alive.

You can even put a lake into a picture that has no water by using the mirror option!!

Parang may tubig monitor mo! Cool...

tama

but beta 1.8 is.

i am using the beta 1.8 now on a JetV266b and on my 8KHA+ board which are both based on KT266A chipset. so far, everything's stable naman on both boards from Win9x to Win2k/XP.

note: the latest beta 1.8 build 9c already supports KT333, and KM266 chipsets.

edmon_cu,

How about fan1 monitoring enabled sa V1.8? Di ba nagloloko sayo? Sakin kasi, Usually 0 RPM ang nadedetect niya kaya madalas naga-alarm. I'm using Smart fan kasi, w/ sensor, kaya akyat baba RPM ng fan ko. Siguro lang nalilito. :)

di ko pa natry eh. i don't attach the fans sa mobo. directly connected sila sa PSU. altho FAN FAILURE yung lumilitaw sa tooltip ng FAN ng VCool.

Hotkey Control XP

Hotkeycontrol XP is a software to customize hotkeys (or single keys) for specific purposes. It will make any keyboard to work as a Multimedia or Internet keyboard. It can also be used to change volume with On-screen-display or display in tray icon. Using iOSD, any avi file can be used to display the volume status on screen and any bitmap can be displayed on the screen conveniently using hotkeys. You can play / eject audio CD's, hide / close / keep on top active windows or shutdown / restart / logoff your computer.

OT: edmon_cu, is the bios for the 8KHA+ official, beta, or modded bios?
