external HD not accessible in hub
« on: October 01, 2015, 06:39:39 PM »
I have 3 external HDs, each usd 3. I got a new transcend hub and after I plugged in all three, one of the drives does how up but appears in the taskbar when I try to dismount the drives. In other words, it's not visible in This PC, but is visible can and can be dismounted from the taskbar (hidden icons).

This same drive us also not visible when I plug in multiple drives in the usd ports on my laptop (not using a hub).

Any ideas on what about be causing this?

The hub is new and has its own power source.

Maybe the HD isn't getting enough power nga..hmm I wonder why.

I'll try it with a new drive letter
