Powerbanks
« on: March 08, 2015, 10:27:53 PM »
I'm looking for a replacement for my yoobao 15000 powerbank. I'm seeing some in olx that claim to be 40,000 to 60,000 going for 2k plus. Are there any particular brands that I need to avoid? Are these lithium polymer kaya?

ay sorry, correction. the 2k models at 60,000mah are 2nd hand pala..

Saw a powerbank being sold at Ace hardware that is supposed to be able to jump start your car if the battery falls flat.

Looks like this from what I can recall:

http://www.lelong.com.my/15000mah-one-car-jump-start-starter-power-bank-battery-charger-laurayang1978-145243599-2015-02-Sale-P.htm

Sells for P5500.

Edit:
Checking Amazon it looks like there are already a lot of this available including one with 2x the power rating. It is a handy thing to have in the car. The current selling price though is way too much compared to what it sells for online. They maybe milking it for the novelty.

Been using iBatts (12000mA)..it has two ports (1x1Amp and 1x2Amp)..bought it at Digital Walker..
 can charge :
- ipad 3 (x1, still enough power to charge iPhone 5 for at least 80% or iPhone6 plus for 70%)
- iPhone 6plus (x3) ; iPhone 5 (x4)

Has anyone noticed that batteries seems to drain a lot faster when it's charged with a powerbank as compared to a wall charger?
