I am also waiting for the ATRIX 4G. I have been a winmo user for almost a decade and it seems that android suits my needs. One of my question is, if there are any info, what type of display does the atrix use? does it compete with the display samsung is using.. super amoled. Ive been using samsung smartphones for the past 3 years. The dual core cpu of the atrix 4g attracted me too and other features as well. If atrix offers superb display, then for sure I'd go for it.

Huawei Ideos: Good 5-6k Android 2.2 phone.

http://technology.inquirer.net/infotech/infotech/view/20110130-317562/Its-Smart-and-its-Android

Quote
Smart is expected to offer Ideos within a price range of P5,000 and P6,000 for prepaid units. It will also bundle a monthly plan of as low as P500 for postpaid subscribers. Company officials said more Smartphone models are in the pipeline.

Reviews say it's a good-entry level Android phone for the price.

it is, but it has something to do with Wildfire having a lower resolution.

Angry Birds worked on my wife's Wildfire on 2.1 and on 2.2.

Just start the game and wait a bit.  When you hear the title music, most likely, the screen will be black but with music.
Hit the power button of your phone to put it to sleep.  Now hit the power button again to wake it up.  Then, unlock the phone.  The angry birds session will then resume and you can start playing.

Word of warning though... at later levels, the game is so sluggish on the Wildfire that it's almost impossible to play.

I'm trying out the Atrix 4G.  I'm not sure if I really want to keep it.  While my favorite apps are a bit snappier, the look and feel is cheaper.

There's a twist though, I have the iPhone 4 already but can sell/trade it in at brand new value for a different phone. Do you think it's worth hanging on to until July?

i guess so.  for me it's worth to wait,  ilang buwan na lang din bago lalabas yung next gen iphone.  but if you can't wait,  choices are may mga newer phones ngayon with dual-core chips like moto atrix at htc thunderbolt (dunno if available ba sila sa pinas).
