It'd make more sense to move it to Gadgets since it's less PC-centric in a way, much like DSLRs and handheld consoles, IMHO

Back on topic, my current portable audio setup  includes:

- Black iPod Classic 120GB (upgrade for my *dead* 80GB 5.5)
- SoundMagic PL11 in-ears
- Sony MDR-7506 (standard audio post gear from work that I bought off Amazon for $99)

I used to have several Senn CX300s & Creative EP-630s that either was sold/given to friends or got mangled through years of day-to-day use. I got the 7506s for their awesome flat response (no EQ-tweeking for me), but they're not really built for outdoor use, so I bought the PL11s 2 weeks ago for a more discreet-looking listening experience, and they have rave reviews as well, plus it's relatively cheap (P800 sa GoGadgets).

@3vilClown

Ang galing! Halos pareho kayo ng setup ng dad ko. We had the same receiver, dvd player and have the same TV that we are still using now.

Our speakers are also b&w but are bookshelf type, Nautilus 805 paired with a  Sunfire True Subwoofer Signature.

Anyone know where I can buy these soundcards in the PH or SG?

Onkyo WAVIO SE90-PCI
http://www.jp.onkyo.com/wavio/90pci/

AudioTrak Prodigy HD2

http://www.audiotrak.net/products/prodigyhd2/

I'm also open to suggestions for similarly priced external DACs with SPDIF inputs.

Thanks.

pinakita bahagya ung gears niya kaya lang ung back panel.  Sa ibang interview nakita ko gamit niya black floorstanders pero back panel lang din ang shot, sayang.  Ano kaya gamit nyang gears? interesting

Tried playing with BFBC2 with Grado sr80i.. good sq but position was sometimes off.. may mga tunog na minsan malapit lang talaga, pero nasa malayo yung source lol. I heard replacing the pads with bowls (im using it with the L-cush) will widen its soundstage.. For now, I'll leave the grados to the music and movies.. as for FPS, its back to these:

Also tried CX300 II, pero mas trip ko pa din she9800.. maganda naman sq ng cx300ii ng sen, pero mas ok pa din soundstage ng 9800,
